Hi Everyone!
This is my first post on my first blog! My daughter helped me create this blog tonight. We are also working on getting a website up and running for my doll business. I am so excited about this. I have been on ebay for a while now, but look forward to having my OWN site.
This weekend, I was a vendor in a big boutique here in town called Santa's Smokestack Boutique. I had a lot of fun making all the dolls for it. It was a little slow, probably because of the economy....but I will be putting some of the items on ebay as well....

- Hi! My name is Sylvia Gonzalez and I am a doll maker and owner of The Gingerbread Corner. I just wanted to take the time to tell you a little about myself. I am a mom with two wonderful teenagers, a boy and a girl. And I have been married to the same great guy for almost 25 years! He puts up with all my projects and crafting! I have been sewing and making dolls for the past 23 years. It has always been a passion of mine and I am so happy to be sharing it with you. In addition to doll making, I have been a private vocal instructor for the past 28 years. I am so lucky to be able to work at home teaching singing and making dolls so that I can be with my kids while they grow up! I am thankful to God for all His blessings in my life.
